Designer Jeans Master Class

After months of planning, refining, and testing, the Designer Jeans Master Class is now available in Sure-Fit Academy South Africa. This step-by-step design and sew-along was created to address one of the most common dressmaking frustrations - why handmade jeans so often fall short of the RTW look. The answer lies in the pattern, and this class focuses on the changes that make all the difference.

What makes this class different from any other jeans course is that it guides you to create a jean master pattern. Using our basic fitted pants pattern as the foundation, I shows you how to design a master pattern that can be used for any future jean project, giving consistent fit and opening up endless design possibilities.

Once the new master pattern is ready, we move on to the pattern work for your designer jeans—waistband, yoke, pockets, leg style—and then sew them step-by-step, with easy to follow tips and techniques.
